As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift move and position heavy loads You will work in the construction or manufacturing industry and may also be involved in loading and unloading cargo from ships or trucks Your primary duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane ensuring safety protocols are followed and communicating with other workers to coordinate movements To excel in this role you must have a valid biometric passport and a minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination physical strength and the ability to work well under pressure Being fluent in English is preferred as you will be required to communicate with a diverse team Responsibilities Operate various types of cranes safely and efficiently Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working condition Follow safety protocols at all times while operating the crane Communicate with other workers using hand signals or radios to coordinate movements Lift move and position heavy loads according to instructions given by supervisors Keep track of materials lifted and moved for recordkeeping purposes Perform routine maintenance on the crane as needed Report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors Requirements Valid biometric passport Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions Excellent hand-eye coordination Physical strength to operate controls for extended periods of time Ability to work well under pressure Fluent in English preferred This position is suitable for men who are physically fit and comfortable working at heights #J-18808-Ljbffr
